A NATURAL ELEMENT, sulfur is an essential component for all living cells. It is common in rocks and minerals and essential for plant growth. Additionally, it is found throughout our body in amino acids, vitamins, and our skin and hair. Known for its yellow color and strong smell, sulfur has been used throughout history for medical purposes and is commonly found in creams, masks, and soaps.

Though it may have a "sulfury" smell, we have added a hint of citrus extract to help. The soap rinses clean, so the smell will wash off when rinsed and does not linger on the skin.

Why love bar soap? It is simple to use and creates less waste. When a bar of soap is used up, it’s just gone, eliminating plastic. Being a dry bar of soap, all it needs for packaging is paper. Bar soaps are lighter and last longer; it takes nine times more energy to transport liquid soap than bar soap.

Like our 10% benzoyl peroxide medicated soap bar and our 2% salicylic acid medicated soap bar, our 6% sulfur medicated soap bar is manufactured in an FDA registered facility under GMP compliance practices.
